Did you know that I can come to you?

Sometimes it is inconvenient (or impossible) to get to a notary during "normal" business hours. Whether it's an office building, a hospital, a coffee shop, your home, or your hotel, I can meet you wherever it's convenient. Examples of the types of documents include:

~ Power of Attorney

~ Medical Power of Attorney

~ Wills

~ Medical Documents

~ Employment Documents (I-9)

~ Certified Copies

How does it work?

When you're ready to have your document(s) notarized, simply email, call, or text to schedule your appointment time and location. (Locations outside of Gregg County are subject to travel fees, depending on services requested).

When scheduling your appointment, please let us know what type of notarial services you need. Before your appointment, we will email you an itemized invoice. All services must be paid prior to notarization.

Don't forget your valid drivers license or government identification card!

Disclaimer

Signature of the documents must be witnessed by the Notary. Pre-signed documents cannot be notarized.

Loan Signing Services

For loan documents, the Texas Administrative Code requires that the closing must occur at the permanent physical address of a lender, an attorney, or a title company. This includes an indoor office or a parking lot.

Loan Signing Services include:

~ Loan Documents

~ Purchases, Refinances, Reverse, 1st and 2nd Mortgages

~ Purchase Money Loans

~ Lines of Credit/HELOC

~ Real Estate Documents

~ Quitclaim Deed

~ Grant Deed

~ Deed of Trust

Is There Anything I Can't Notarize?

Each document type has a specific way to be handled, including some documents that require specialized validation. So, while it's rare, there are times when I cannot notarize a particular document.

Please review this list of documents that I CANNOT notarize before scheduling an appointment:

~ Immigration documents

~ Pictures

~ Documents that have already been signed

~ Blank or incomplete documents

~ Documents that don't require a signature

~ Uncertainty of notarial act to sign

~ Notarial act not clearly defined

What you should know ahead of time...

We cannot notarize signed documents. A personal appearance by the signor in front of the notary is always required by the state of Texas. We also must decline to pre/post date document notarizations.

There is an important difference between the document date and the notarization date. The document date is the effective date of the document and is of no concern to the notary. The notarization date is the actual date the you sign the document as witnessed by a notary and must be accurately reflected on the document.
